the LCD Epson Projector EMP - S1H
The committe of Dover Pageant Society have purchased
the LCD Epson Projector EMP - S1H
This stylish home cinema projector from Epson is a treat for movie lovers. Considering its bulk, it's easy to carry and not too heavy at 3.8kg. It can be mounted on the ceiling and has adjustable feet for getting the right angle. The zoom and focus dials are easy to adjust and the front and rear IR sensors cover a wide area for using the remote. It doesn't come with a bag, but then it's not really designed with portability in mind. At a distance of seven feet from the screen the EMP- TW10 can project an 87" image, which is an absolutely huge display. Various brightness presets reduce the brightness of the image, and hence the noise the unit makes, at the push of a button. The TW10 is almost silent in 'theatre' mode, which is crucial for watching movies in smaller rooms. One of the most important features of this projector is its native widescreen display, which means that you can watch films in a true 16:9 aspect ratio with no image processing and no grey sections at the top and bottom of the image, as you get when you try to fit a rectangle into a square. The picture is excellent, making this projector perfect for home entertainment. It's
one of the cheapest projectors on test, and its bulbs are the cheapest we've seen too.
